In an emergency, posting here can cause you to lose precious time. When in doubt, see a vet!! If it is not urgent, feel free to post, but if it is urgent, do so at your own risk. WE DO NOT REPLACE THE ADVICE OF A QUALIFIED VET!

In an emergency, above all, stay calm and focused. Keep your rat warm, do rattie first aid if appropriate.

Rat Guide

Please, before an emergency happens, find an exotics vet. The time to find one is before you need one.

Please feel free to post any vets you recommend, along with procedures you have had done there.

The format can be:
Vet Name(s)
Vet Hospital/Clinic
Address
Website
Phone
Procedures Done
Other

A great resource for veterinarians with training with and an interest in rats is the AEMV:
